We are one of the most successful regional gaming and hospitality companies in the country and need an experienced Digital Asset Management (DAM) Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our company's Acquia Content Hub. This part-time role is targeted at 15-20 hours per week and is 100% remote. This role will manage user accounts; upload, enrich, and quality-control assets; and lead best practices for taxonomy, metadata/tagging, and user permissions.

Since launching the Content Hub in 2023, we have grown users from 40 to 120 across internal teams and external agencies who produce and consume content. In addition, we expanded our assets from 2,600 to 8,000+. The DAM Manager reports to the VP of Digital Marketing and works closely with corporate and multi-property departments, vendors, and agency partners. To succeed in this role, you should possess a high level of organization and attention to detail, excellent proactive communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Overall

  • Maintain and promote the enterprise Digital Asset Management System (the “Content Hub”)
  • Serve as the asset librarian and maintain strict governance on asset organization
  • Understand end-to-end content operations across the organization to enhance system engagement and collaboration across teams
  • Execute monthly analytics reports
  • Maintain product roadmap and project prioritization
  • Remain up-to-date on industry knowledge of best practices

New User Support

  • Train all new users both internal and external
  • Gather feedback from users and develop and update training materials as needed

Maintenance & Ongoing Support

  • Support all properties on DAM weekly Office Hours
  • Create and distribute concise, routine communication to inform users of new features and content
  • Perform routine Content Hub maintenance, including reviewing uploads and expiring assets, auditing metadata, and updating the dashboard
  • Provide ongoing training for new features and reminders of existing features

Special Projects

  • Support property as needed
  • Continue to ferret out assets that belong in Content Hub, upload and tag as appropriate
  • Work with internal stakeholders on portal use cases, development and maintenance.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree required with Library Sciences or Marketing degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on digital marketing or marketing technology
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
  • Experience with governance principles, metadata standards, taxonomy, and rights management; knowledge of DAM platforms a plus (Acquia Widen, Adobe, Salsify or another online CMS)
  • Familiarity with the content lifecycle from creation to delivery
  • Working knowledge of change management principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position (gaming experience is not required).
