Intern Category Management FR (f/m/d)

We are offering an internship for 6 months in our Category management team within the French business unit.

The internship will be based in our Paris office.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the category management team, you support several category managers work on the different initiatives to grow focus categories:

  • Project management: support focus categories initiatives and help category manager in the go-to market execution for new features, tools, pricing or commercial programs
  • Business development: support commercial conversations and partnership opportunities with professional sellers, existing and potential
  • Trade marketing and merchandising: be force of proposal and initiate merchandising and trade marketing initiatives and campaign as well as existing plans and format in collaboration with Marketing team
  • Competition & benchmark: share & structure competitive insights on the different focus categories
  • Category managers at eBay have various and large scope of action to boost their inventory you will have the chance of discovering and participate to.

Requirements for the role:

  • Preferably from Business school
  • Great interpersonal and sales skills
  • Problem solving skills and highly analytical and interest in e-commerce (being an active eBay user is a plus !)
  • Proficient skills with Office & Google suites
  • Fluent in French and English (oral, written)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think proactively and autonomous
