General Description

The ideal candidate is passionate about transforming business ideas into technical solutions to help drive more efficient processes and steer critical business decisions. You are innately curious and love to solve business problems.

As a Business Analyst Intern in Information Technology, you will research, analyze, specify, and validate business processes in alignment with a multitude of software applications at a No. 1 ranked global company. This includes eliciting and documenting requirements and working closely with developers to provide solutions that meet business needs. The Business Analyst will also assist in creating test case scenarios, testing, and coordinating user acceptance testing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Work with teams to gather, analyze and compile business process needs.
• Create process, models, specifications, diagrams, and charts on current business processes.
• Gather requirements and document user stories and business requirements.
• Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop test case scenarios based on project requirements.
• Conduct and coordinate user acceptance testing with stakeholders
• Create training materials such as user guides and reference sheets.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to translate business requirements to technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze problems and devise viable solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and be a team player.
• Demonstrate initiative and ownership of tasks and projects. 
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels.
• BA/BS Computer Science / Business / MIS (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education).

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with complex data structures and Relational Databases desired.
• SQL skills, MS SQL experience preferred
• Salesforce or other CRM system experience a strong plus

Salary Range

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

$20.00-$30.00
