Job Title: Fund Accountant

Location: Menlo Park, CA (Onsite Daily)

Salary: $90,000-$95,000 / year + bonus

Peninsula based Investment Management Firm seeks a Fund Accountant to manage daily accounting for a set of multi strategy funds. This role will coordinate and review quarterly administrator accounting packages, partner capital and financial statements, and calls/distributions to partners. This person will also assist in preparation of tax estimates and tax returns for the funds. This role offers good work life balance and will work in the office onsite daily.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3+ years fund tax and/or fund accounting experience, preferably in venture capital, private equity, public accounting, asset management, hedge fund, or from a fund administrator.
• Partnership/fund tax experience highly desired.
• CPA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and follow through, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills including advanced Excel.
• Ability to work onsite daily.
