Senior Project Engineer - Global Barrier Platform Team

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and testing process concepts to improve/optimize machine platforms
  • Overseeing and checking machine/tool designs for prototype equipment or modifications
  • Providing input to process and equipment specifications
  • Completing process development and testing using systematic processes and relevant techniques
  • Supporting Should Cost savings opportunities
  • Coordinating product or subassembly testing in support of process development
  • Managing vendor partner relationships in the development of key equipment
  • Executing a range of capital projects to improve/optimize machine platforms across all manufacturing plants
  • Troubleshooting global manufacturing issues
  • Conducting process/equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years’ of working experience in engineering
  • Relevant experience specific to manufacturing or machine design preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Process background desirable with healthcare, chemical or plastics experience; or alternatively within another regulated industry
  • Proven experience in process development and optimization
  • Strong leadership, technical acumen, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with DOE, validation, and statistical analysis tools
