What are we looking for?

Assists with providing computer hardware and software support for multiple Synthomer locations across North America.

What you'll own in this role...

• Troubleshoot issues with computers, printers, mobile devices and audio/visual equipment. 
• Log tickets and thoroughly document actions taken.
• Provide support through multiple channels including phones, ITSM tool and Microsoft Teams
• Escalate unresolved tickets to the appropriate level 2 and 3 teams
• Complete all projects potentially assigned
• Help with new employee hardware and software setups
• Come into the office as necessary for specific tasks

What you'll need to be successful...

• General knowledge of PC hardware and software
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Solid record of academic achievement – minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Current Sophomore or Junior majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Information Systems.
• 0-1 years of experience
• Office environment, regular attendance is required. May require off-shift work hours as job demands

Qualifications that can set you apart...

• Help Desk Support
• Experience with an ITSM or ticketing tool
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required
• Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
• Experience with troubleshooting computer/network issues is a plus.
