The Crown Is Yours

We’re hiring an Operations Specialist to join our SRE Operations team. This team is responsible for leading production incidents from start to resolution and collecting incident data. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring different components, providing alarm surveillance, and taking corrective actions as necessary or escalating to Engineering Teams. You’ll work with multiple global teams on troubleshooting and fixing issues and production incidents to ensure a world-class customer experience.

What you'll do as an Operations Specialist

  • Ensure constant availability and uninterruptible operation of our multi-service network and customer activity.
  • Provide alarm surveillance, troubleshooting, and resolution of incoming system alerts.
  • Collaborate closely with the other departments to monitor and escalate alerts.
  • Demonstrate situational influence across the team to promote an idea or progress work forward.
  • Proactively initiate the incident management process in response to critical alerts

What you’ll bring

  • Good understanding of service monitoring using specific tools (DataDog, Grafana, Kibana, PagerDuty).
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments, IIS, Nginx, Kubernetes, VMware, and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian Stack including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and its application in managing containerized environments.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting tools.
  • Understanding of CDN and DNS concepts.
  • Analytical thinking and proactive attitude.
  • A team-oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
  • Willingness to support a 24/7 business and work on shifts including nights and weekends.
