THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Product Success Analyst at Xactly Corporation, you will be at the forefront of our strategic initiatives to dominate the market. Your role will involve diving deep into competitive intelligence, aiding in analyst relations, and providing support for RFP submissions. You will work closely with Product leadership to turn insights into actionable strategies that will drive our product's success in the market.

THE TEAM

You will be joining a dynamic Product Success team known for its collaborative spirit and innovative approach. Our team consists of experienced and passionate individuals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible, always with the goal of delivering unparalleled value to our customers.

THE SKILL SET

  • 3+ years experience in the SaaS industry in a Product, Product Marketing or Marketing role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting competitive analysis and leveraging findings to inform product strategies, along with the ability to identify market opportunities and threats through thorough analysis of trends and competitor strategies.
  • Experience in engaging with industry analysts and managing analyst relations through vendor briefings and inquiries with the leading analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester and Ventana Research.
  • Experience in supporting RFP processes, from preparation of written responses that highlight our market and competitive differentiation, to proposal submission.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights. Proficient in conducting detailed competitive intelligence and market research using a variety of methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Understanding of web-based technologies and software development within the SaaS industry.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL

  • Receive comprehensive onboarding to understand our products, culture, and operations.
  • Start building relationships with key internal stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Begin your immersion into competitive intelligence tasks, analyst relation management and RFP processes.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL

  • Take ownership of specific competitive intelligence initiatives, delivering insights that shape our product strategy.
  • Play a key role in managing and enhancing our analyst relations.
  • Support the completion and submission of several RFPs, working closely with the assigned GTM teams.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL

  • Become a go-to expert within the company for competitive insights and analyst relations.
  • Lead projects to further streamline our RFP submission process.
  • Contribute significantly to our product strategy discussions, informed by your deep understanding of the competitive landscape.

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL

  • Have made substantial contributions to our product's market success, supported by your work in competitive intelligence, analyst relations, and RFP submissions.
  • Drive initiatives to continuously improve our processes and strategies based on market feedback and competitive developments.
  • Serve as a mentor to new team members, sharing your knowledge and insights to foster team growth.
