We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test with strong skills in testing software applications and developing automated solutions to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. A good understanding of test data management and software development principles is essential.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and high-level test cases for in-house developed software applications.
• Develop automated tests for UI and API, handling big sets of test data.
• Act as an advocate of software testing and quality for the team.
• Develop a deep understanding of the product domain & business requirements (functional & non-functional).
• Support both functional and non-functional testing activities when needed.
• Collaborate with other Software Engineers in Test across the organization to design, build, and maintain tooling for test automation, coverage and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and the team’s Engineers to support all testing activities within the sprint.

Qualifications:

• Professional experience of three years minimum working as a Software Engineer in Test or similar Software Engineering positions.
• Good knowledge of API and integration testing techniques.
• Familiarity with test data handling.
• Good knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Javascript, Java, C#.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux commands Git.
• A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
• English language skills (verbal and written).

Also, it would be great:

• Familiarity with Python and PyTest.
• Experience with package/library development.
• A working understanding of Docker and Jenkins.
• Experience with custom automation frameworks.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Qualified to ISEB/ISTQB Foundation level.
