Service engineer

You will be working as Service Engineer at global grade 15 and will be part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Coordinator and will be responsible for ensuring the service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers. Executes technical support, acts as a specialist, and solves problems in their own area of expertise. Communicates both with the customer and ABB sales teams proactively to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth

Your responsibilities

• Providing technical consulting on service solutions to management and customers
• Managing customer relationships and maintains regular contact with key customers
• Identifying new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure
• customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth
• Preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative
• Providing recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service
• Coordinating and executing specialist service projects in relevant areas internally and externally (e.g., create milestones,
• project plan, cost supervision, action steps, project reviews, and project supervision) including all commercials

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in servicing ABB Relays, Erection, Commissioning, testing of switchgear and relays
• Should have exposure to medium and low voltage switchgear
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
