How you'll make an impact

Primarily focused on leveraging data to build tracking, develop scalable reporting, and influence marketing strategy, role incumbent(s) will work cross-functionally with several teams at Gallagher (including marketing, data science, and global analytics teams), with the objective of helping to drive Marketing's effective, analytically driven, and strategic organic growth and innovation. Essential duties further include: Collaborating with Marketing stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps, define new opportunities, and leverage data to validate those hypotheses as a core step in planning process; Working primarily with Microsoft's PowerBI to analyze and communicate insights via dashboards; and Working with Data Science stakeholders to focus on process and continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement. Contributes to the design and development of solutions to advance business performance.

About you

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics/Math, Business or related field; 1 year of experience in a data-centric role. Exposure to Tableau, PowerBI, or similar data visualization tools. Familiarity with predictive modeling and other data science techniques.

Preferred: Knowledge of Python and SQL. Experience with B2B organizations and/or insurance or related industry. Experience with marketing related data feeds and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Oktopost, SalesForce. Familiarity and curiosity regarding marketing, insurance, risk management.
