Due to the internship being on location at our Albany facility, your participation in the opportunities listed above with our network of interns will take place virtually from a computer on-site in Albany, however it will still have a great impact on your internship experience!

As an Operations Intern, you will:

• Learn warehouse operations and processes in a hands-on environment
• Work closely with warehouse supervisors to develop practical solutions to problems without sacrificing quality
• Analyze opportunities for growth, cutting costs, reducing damages and improving efficiencies
• Continually improve productivity targets and process improvements

Additionally, you will complete internship projects, which could include, but are not limited to:

• Testing new order packing processes and materials
• Creating new standard operating procedures for various warehouse processes
• Improving and updating training manual
• Testing new warehouse software processes

We are looking for driven, motivated candidates who show:

• Strong knowledge in MS Excel
• Ability to work in a fast–paced and deadline driven environment
• Exhibit analytical thinking and problem solving
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Passion for supply chain management and process enhancement
• Demonstrate maturity, responsibility and leadership ability
• Must be able push and pull up to 150 lbs, as well as lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to constantly bend, reach, squat, twist, and stand throughout shift

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college or university with an expected graduation date between August 2024 and May 2027.
• Residency (permanent or temporary/seasonal) in Georgia
• While we consider applicants with diverse majors and work history; however, applicants frequently have education in Business Management, Supply Chain, Business Logistics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
