Job Summary

Fast-paced and rapidly growing wealth management firm with offices in Melville, NY, New York City, and Boca Roton FL is seeking an experienced Senior Family Office Accountant. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the comprehensive financial records of our high-net-worth family clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute all accounting functions necessary to report on the financial position of select ultra-high net-worth clients.
• Oversee bill pay functions
• Liaise and develop strong working relationships with internal service team members.
• Prepare cashflow planning for high net-worth clients including budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and analyses.
• Perform ad‐hoc financial analyses and execute projects as required.
• Maintain client household payroll.
• Oversee junior staff to ensure accuracy of books and records.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or relevant Master's
• CPA designation is preferred
• 4+ years of related experience
• Expert in QuickBooks accounting software
• Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy, excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• “Roll up your sleeves” work ethic, tenacity, and willingness to go the extra mile
• Resourceful, decisive, critical thinker
• Must be a team player, enthusiastic and reliable
