What You Will Do

HBBIOS in Harman in-house SW to support HW design verification and related tests during HW qualification. This position will be responsible for maintaining and developing HBBIOS for SOC (like Jacinto), MCU (S32K), and DSP (Sharc) and related SW documentation and processes.

• Work with the global team for project delivery including the HTF (Hardware Test Framework) group in the Suzhou office for Car Audio products.
• Work with HW engineers for BIOS work package definition.
• Develop BUS communication for newly developed A2B/CAN FD/ Ethernet AVB/etc.
• Develop HBBIOS components for HW design verification including DDR and related peripherals.
• Follow the SW Process for Code Repository Management/Configuration Management.
• Support application software engineering team internationally.

What You Need

• Bachelor or Master major in electronics, embedded programming, software engineering, Physics or related
• 10+ years’ experience in low-level drivers.
• Successful product design and delivery in a global team environment in the automotive electronics industrial
• C development experience in real-time embed products with multi-task OS.
• Solid knowledge about HW design.
• Experience using basic engineering tools (oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.)
• Experience in the driver for Communication protocols like I2S, I2C, TDM, SPI, etc
• Experience in the implementation of embedded systems and tools (emulators, debuggers, simulators, etc.
• Experience with software version control systems
• Good in Verbal and written communication skills

What is Nice to Have

• Experience in the audio industrial and familiar with audio performance test
• Audiophile and passion for life
• NXP S32K/ADI SHAR/ARM experience highly preferred
• Development experience as HW engineer is a plus

What Makes You Eligible

• Willingness to travel 5% of the time
• Willingness to work in an office in different location of Suzhou
• Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
