Rooms - Summer Internship 

Full Time-Summer 

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail 

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is looking for a student dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests while showing great enthusiasm for the hospitality sector. The student will anticipate guests' needs, train to have an exceptional knowledge of guest services, and have a passion for creating guest experiences. 

Responsibilities 

• We are looking for an individual who possesses an affinity for guest service! 
• Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Offer guests an enjoyable experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness. The ability to perform this position to Four Seasons Standards and learn the Sequence of Service is required. 
• Utilize the resort's software applications to coordinate guest requests, track calls, monitor rooms and check-out list. 
• Assist customers with all inquiries in relation to hotel services, opening hours, key hotel personnel, internal events, directions, etc. 
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. 

Additional Internship Responsibilities 

• Attend Biweekly Intern Meetings 
• Attend assigned Management meetings 
• Work a flexible schedule, 30 - 40+ hours per week 

Internship Qualifications and Skills 

To be considered for this Internship, an individual must meet the following criteria. 

• Must be currently enrolled/recent graduate at a University, College, or Community College 
• Studying in the Hospitality or a related field preferred 
• Must be available from May 2024- August 2024 
• The intern is expected to display passion in all they do and have an eager drive to fulfill a Career in the Hospitality sector. 
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. 
• Applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays 

What we offer: 

• Pay for the summer internship depends on the position, with pay ranging from $21.11 – 22.77/hr.
• Housing is available for an additional cost. 
• Employee cafeteria available to employees in onsite housing. 
• In-house dry cleaning of employee uniform.
