Product Management Engineer – Solutions Summary: 

The Product Management Engineer (PME) at Delinea is responsible for orchestrating the development and lifecycle management of end-to-end deployment experiences and product integrations across the Delinea portfolio of offerings. The primary focus is on delivering a seamless, unified customer experience, enabling customers to leverage the full spectrum of benefits offered by our portfolio. 

As an advocate for customer-centricity, the PME plays a pivotal role in shaping the portfolio experience and integration initiatives. This entails ensuring that solutions are not only easy to use but also prioritize user satisfaction, facilitating smooth adoption of the entire Delinea PAM journey for our customers. 

Internally, this role involves deep collaboration with cross-functional product teams to define product requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure customers and partners can easily use our products. Externally, this role develops customer-facing materials and uncovers product requirements that help customers adopt the entire Delinea PAM portfolio. 

What You'll Do (Responsibilities): 

  • Develop a multi-year Delinea Platform Architectural Point-of-View to influence and drive requirements to the Product Management and Product Engineering organizations to deliver a consistent user experience across all offers. 
  • Oversee the lifecycle of the Delinea Platform Shared Services and data classification models from concept to launch, including iterations. 
  • Champion an end-to-end customer experience approach across individual solutions, emphasizing simplicity, usability, and satisfaction in all cross-product integration efforts. 
  • Craft customer-facing materials and resources that empower users to seamlessly implement the complete portfolio of Delinea solutions, from initial deployment to ongoing usage and optimization. Including reference architectures, demo environments, product walkthroughs, step-by-step guides, etc. 
  • Ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and external customers, fostering a shared understanding of the value proposition and benefits associated with the deployment of the entire portfolio of solutions. 
  • Provide technical expertise and support to sales and marketing teams. 
  • Define and prioritize product requirements based on market research, customer feedback, competitive positioning, and regulatory standards. 
  • Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback, understand pain points, and drive continuous improvements to the deployment approach across solutions. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity and identity management. 

What You'll Need (Qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in product management, software development, DevOps and/or solution architecture within the cybersecurity industry. 
  • Ability to understand and model complex systems, recognizing patterns, and designing scalable and robust architectures. 
  • Strong understanding of privileged access management (PAM), identity & access management (IAM) and identity governance frameworks, systems, and protocols. 
  • Familiarity with PAM solutions like Delinea, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust and IAM solutions like Okta, Microsoft, or Ping. 
  • Experience with authentication standards and technologies such as multi-factor authentication, PKI, SAML, OAuth, SPIFFE, etc. 
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals. 
  • Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience. 
  • Superior communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Excellent analytical abilities to solve complex problems and provide effective solutions. 

We'd Love to See: 

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies. 
  • Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET Core, and web application technologies is a plus. 
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS), SaaS and/or cloud-based applications. 
  • Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. continuous integration, continuous deployment) 
  • Ability to quickly read and understand both new and existing code. 
  • A good understanding of security best practices in software development. 

Certifications: 

  • Relevant industry certifications such as the following are a plus: 
  • Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) 
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Security Engineer 
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and/or AWS Certified Security - Specialty 
  • GCP Cloud Architect or Cloud Security Engineer
