This includes working with staff to improve audience reach on search, social media, newsletters and more, where we continuously look to evolve and deepen reader experience. This leader will also have the opportunity to work closely with HCMG’s award-winning visual and data visualization teams, together producing some of our strongest work.

This managing editor will also play a key role in talent development and recruiting, regularly sharing constructive feedback with editors and reporters and looking for opportunities to elevate their journalism and support their development and career pathing at HCMG. They will consult regularly with newsroom leadership on coverage, as well as on broader strategic and budget considerations as part of the senior management team.
