Description Facilitate CSW objectives/activities at the plant with a strong emphasis but not limited to wrapping. Be the CSW responsible M.E. Representative located onsite at IMO while being part of and reporting to the Troy/Vandalia CSW Supervisor.
Position Requirements Evaluate design, manufacturing and equipment feasibility for sewing, hand wrapping and pre-fixing processes.
Assist in developing pattern designs for quality sewn and wrapped parts.
Provide/generate specifications for equipment and tooling used for quoting and follow PDP4 process.
Manage scrap and ensure all equipment meets FTQ and OEE requirements.
Assist Operations in operator training as necessary
Work and communicate with manufacturing plants during program launch (prototype build & production start-up) and provide ongoing support as needed during production life.
Initiate and implement equipment improvements, cost savings ideas, etc.
Troubleshoot any mechanical issues and program issues with responsible ME and controls engineer at plant site.

Strong mechanical skills and desire for hands on activities.
Work effectively in a team atmosphere, Strong degree of self-motivation and self-direction
Hand tools and hands-on work experience with sewing and wrapping processes
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary
Microsoft Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project & Auto-Cad, Vis-View, Unigraphics or equivalent.
