Job Summary/Description:

WBRC FOX6 has an immediate opening for a talented, motivated Digital Solutions Specialist to join our energetic and professional sales team in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in collaborating with our internal sales team to ensure smooth and effective execution of digital sales initiatives and client campaigns. We seek self-starters with a sense of urgency who can sell new business on-air, online, and on mobile platforms while maintaining and growing existing businesses. Candidates must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication & customer service skills.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Work closely with the Digital Sales Manager and Digital Support to manage all aspects of campaign execution.
  • Assist our team of Account Executives in developing digital sales strategies and achieving revenue targets.
  • Act as a secondary client contact, identifying client objectives and optimizing success through research and analysis.
  • Develop media plan recommendations, and comprehensive campaign summaries, and identify key performance indicators.
  • Present digital strategies and cost schedules to clients clearly and professionally.
  • Lead optimization strategies for digital campaigns, keeping performance at its peak.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest digital marketing trends and continually expand your technical skills.
  • Present reporting materials to clients that showcase campaign success and offer actionable insights for improvement.
  • Present, negotiate, and execute cross-platform advertising campaigns and present proof of results
  • Prospect, cold call and sell new business and grow shares from current clients
  • Exceed assigned budget through new and existing business development

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College degree preferred. Media and/or Marketing background is a plus
  • Self-starter, with the ability to interact and influence others positively while working in a fast-paced environment
  • High achiever with excellent communication skills, creativity, and persistence
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to exceed budget through new and existing business development
  • Applicants must be proficient working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital sales or a related field
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, email marketing, PPC, and social media
  • Strong team player with exceptional multitasking abilities
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C environments is preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and acquire new technical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Google Analytics certification is a plus
