As a Senior Director, Data, you will be responsible for the growth, development, and implementation of Data Strategy services across Acxiom's business in North America. Your role will focus on initiating new opportunities, shaping value propositions, and introducing organic growth on existing relationships through your deep domain expertise in data, working alongside Acxiom's digital transformation technology services teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify client opportunities through strategic relationship building with senior clients
  • Originate, shape and nurture data strategy opportunities from inception through to implementation
  • Develop market facing data strategy propositions • Source, support and close business development opportunities with new clients
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth in existing client accounts
  • Lead high profile data strategy engagements 
  • Develop data strategy projects into larger programs of delivery 
  • Contribute to and implement global data strategy policies and standards 
  • Nurture and develop talent within the data strategy team 
  • Actively participate in the entrepreneurial construction of the data strategy team: support recruiting process, define ways of working, contribute thought leadership
  • Design, structure and build a data strategy(ies) in support of complex or semi-complex data challenges that exist across multi-channel marketing programs and Journeys, integrated plans and tactics, tiered performance goals, and spanning multiple ManTech platforms (internal and external)
  • Analyze business needs, define technical and analytical requirements, build operating models, create strategy, use data-driven decision-making, and use a combination of tools and frameworks to uncover strategic solutions, which deliver business impact and solve stakeholder needs
  • Continue to develop and help drive the strategy for the organization's data strategy including data architecture, Reporting, Insights, Analytics, Operations, Predictive modeling, attribution and Machine Learning/AI
  • Create data and performance framework templates to visually and simply convey a high-to-low level approach to goals, touchpoints, measurement, as well as specific KPI definition
  • Create compelling and visually advanced and polished presentations to convey an impact-focused data story to internal marketing teams and stakeholders
  • Act as a thought-leader and partner for internal marketing teams and stakeholders by bridging market trends, external data and insights, as well as past performance to their specific challenges, opportunities, and ambitions
  • Lead teams to better understand how to best structure, set up, and program/implement across the Marketing Technology Stack, to best measure and track success across channels, through the end-to-end journey
  • Drive forward a test and learn mindset, as well as before and after set up and results related to website performance, media investments, product features, or any other initiatives warranted

Qualifications:

Bachelors in a related field

7+ years of solution consulting or pre-sales engineering experience

4+ years of, brand or adtech / martech vendor experience preferred

3+ years working across identity vendors

Strong working knowledge of CRM and 1P data strategies

Professional experience working with big data; building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures, and data sets, to deliver marketing and business strategy for companies as a consultant and or as an internal marketing, business/customer insights on the client side

Project management experience using data to solve complex business questions and drive business solutions, demonstrating an awareness of broader business impacts

Experience collaborating across functions and with leaders to capture outside perspectives and leverage internal knowledge.

Demonstrates ability to innovate and enhance processes through the utilization of new technologies and knowledge.

Ability to apply marketing and commercial intelligence concepts for business success.

Experience with AI platforms 

Flexible with the ability to keep up with a fast paced, constantly evolving environment. Problem solvers, comfortable developing and working to different solution types and scopes.

Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate and lead projects across multiple teams and functions
