ENGLISH

• Responsible for the entire Supply Chain process at the site, contributing to the achievement of objectives regarding data quality, orders, supplier relationships, audits, continuous improvement, transport, customs, inventory etc.
• Implements supply chain procedures and standards
• Ensures the processing of customer orders including logistic protocols, capacity, usage of the customer portal, dispute resolution, packaging and guarantees
• Organizes regular inventories, ensures accuracy of stock documentation, optimizes safety reserves, liases with finance on the results
• Produces forecasts and budgets, optimizes the safety stocks, produces weekly and monthly KPIs reports
• Maintains the relationship with internal and external support services, including management of the logistics platform (storage space, stock level) and acting as contact person
• Leads the team and develops the members’ skills in key competence areas such as continuous improvement
• Supports the development and improvement of the ERP system (Oracle R12)
• Performs audits and implements necessary actions to ensure compliance (as needed)
• All other tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Education

GERMAN

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium in Maschinenbau, Produktionsmanagement, Logistikmanagement (oder gleichwertig)
• Mindestens 8 Jahre Erfahrung als Logistikverantwortliche/r in einem Produktionsumfeld, idealerweise in der Automobilindustrie
• Ausgeprägte Kenntnisse über logistische Prozesse, Planung und Produktion
• Gute Kenntnisse von Lean-Management Konzepten und -Instrumenten wie KANBAN und/oder Value Stream Mapping
• Grundkenntnisse in der Metallbearbeitung und in Fertigungsprozessen (z. B. Zerspanung, Stanzen)
• Erfahrung in der Führung eines Teams und der Entwicklung von Mitarbeitern
• Hervorragende IT-Anwenderkenntnisse in MS-Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel), Datenbanken, ERP-Systemen (z. B. Oracle, Plex), logistischen Instrumenten (z. B. Dashboards und Leistungsmessungsindikatoren)
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen und englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift

ENGLISH

• Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, Logistics Management (or equivalent)
• At least 8 years experience as a Logistics Manager in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of logistic processes, planning and production
• Good understanding of lean management concepts and tools such as KANBAN and/or Value Stream Mapping
• Basic knowledge of metal treatment and manufacturing processes (e.g. machining, stamping)
• Experience leading a team and developing individuals
• Excellent user IT knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel), databases, ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, Plex), logistic tools (e.g. dashboards and performance measurement indicators)
• Very good spoken and written German and English language skills
