The transformation you will experience.

The Junior FP&A Analyst supports the implementation of financial analysis and controlling function across the business units of Publicis Groupe ANZ through the preparation of key financial information and monitoring of reporting systems.

Your scope will include:

  • Prepare and distribute templates for actuals and forecasts to collect financial information from the business units.
  • Consolidate financial information for local and regional requirements across ANZ including actuals performance, rolling forecasts and commitment budgets as well other ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Review the accuracy and reasonableness of information reported by the business units.
  • Prepares commentaries and perform detailed analysis to understand key variances.
  • Answer questions on financial performance to local and regional teams
  • Review the accuracy and reasonableness of monthly actual reporting, budgeting and reforecasting for the Groupe.
  • Coordinate with the business units any changes required in the reporting tool (HFM) regarding the budgeting and reforecasting submission.
  • Monitor the new business pipeline updates in Salesforce and follow up any amendments needed for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure business units are compliant with financial and process controls.
  • Perform assessment on current controls in place and assist in the implementation of improvements.
  • Support new acquisitions during the implementation of financial monitoring controls.

What type of person will be successful in this role

  • Great attention to detail
  • Teamplayer with good communication skills and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders across various levels.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and self-manage their time.
  • Ability to work within high pressured deadlines.
  • Intermediate-advanced excel skills.
  • Degree in Finance / Accounting
  • 2-4 years experience.
  • Previous experience in visualisation software and tools eg, Power BI etc would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in FP&A or from an audit background would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience in HFM (Oracle) reporting software and Smartview templates would be ideal.
