Job Title:

Logistics Compliance, Import & BOI Specialist

Summary:

This position is responsible for implementation, performing, controlling, monitoring, and maintaining for overall import activities associated with company requirement and compliance with customs laws and regulations, BOI or any other government related.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Well, understand logistics workflow and operation lead time
  • Implement and monitoring the inbound procedures and control systems to ensure the smooth of inbound logistics flow
  • Leading import logistics activity, in order to plan and optimize company’s Logistics Service Cost
  • Leading daily inbound logistics operation and service provider to meet company requirements.
  • Leading daily inbound logistics operation and service provider to meet company requirements.
  • Ensure the daily operation issue from service provider have communicate to team for problem solving and preventive action implementation.
  • Supervising a sub-contractor in handling inbound shipments related
  • Works effectively across logistics service provider (2PL, 3PL & 4PL) to solve inbound service issue
  • Daily monitor shipment plan VS actual to ensure that shipment arrives within target schedule.
  • Consult and provider solution related import, export regulation and Thailand trade agreement
  • Complete understanding on how to handle inbound shipment, both BOI and non-BOI related.
  • Escalate to Logistics Operation Leader or GTC if there are any operation concern to Customs &BOI requirement or any regulation requirement.
  • Coordinate to concerned department who related to BOI included to review processes to be aligned with BOI regulation
  • Prepare reports to BOI as required.
  • Coordinate with the government section that relate to BOI and Customs when tasks are required.
  • Pro-active generation of new ideas and new approaches
  • Take timely necessary action and find solutions
  • Responsible for customs duty and tax planning
  • Ensure correct HS tariff maintains at logistics service provider data base and select for company customs record
  • Any other reasonable task as requested by manager

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics or supply chain any related fields.
  • >5 years in BOI, Privates Control & regulations formality process or any other regulation compliance with overall import activities and shipping documentation
  • Good skill in customs clearance & Regulations formality process
  • Good in communicate and written in English.
  • Safety consciousness.
  • Background from Multi-National Companies is preferred.
  • Good knowledge in Thailand Incentive & Taxes(BOI, Customs, FTA, FDA or etc and licensing)
  • Dangerous Good knowledge is required (IMDG, IATA, DIW)
  • Country Regulation knowledge, risk management and audit experiences
  • Proficiency in MS office software, knowledge and experience of SAP is a plus.
  • Leadership skills, able to lead team and drive actions.
  • Communication in English, Can-do attitude, Management with teamwork collaboration
