As part of our R&D Engineering team, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies to address significant, unmet clinical needs that impact patients’ lives around the world.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop core products which involve mechanical, bio-medical and other fields
  • Use SolidWorks to design components, assemblies and fixtures and generate drawings to manufacturing level.
  • Design and conduct experiments including generating protocols and reports, analyze data using statistical techniques (DOE – Design of experiment) and develop test methods.
  • Use analytical tools (e.g. FEA, CFD) to support design and testing of metallic, Polymers and soft components
  • Generate work instructions, test methods, engineering drawings/prototypes, etc., to establish /characterize product and/or process specifications.
  • Give clear instruction to technicians on conducting tests, assembly, and other tasks.

What you’ll need (Required):

  • At least 5 years of experience in R&D mechanical engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Proven SolidWorks / other CAD capabilities
  • Knowledge in Geometric Tolerance Drawing (GTD)
  • Fast execution, highly motivated and a team player.
  • Fluent English (oral and written)

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Master Degree – An advantage
  • Structural heart medical device experience – advantage
  • Knowledge in polymers / injection molding - advantage
  • Strong CAD capabilities. Experience in stents, catheters, and small mechanisms design – an advantage.
