Perform semiconductor engineering duties in furtherance of yield enhancement and defect reduction for a specified module of semiconductor materials process flow. Develop new process formulas, establish operating equipment specifications, improve manufacturing techniques, and responsible for new process equipment production. Responsible for process control and predictability through SPC monitoring. Act as engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible. Conduct in-line inspection and defect review data to react to defect excursions; improve baseline defect level; support defect analyses for changes within the module; perform integration module defectivity monitoring and reduction; determine root cause of defect issues, and drive resolution; reduce tool-level defect levels (both excursion reduction and baseline improvement); evaluate materials and analyze failure data and laboratory test results to determine causes of defects; develop material and fabrication procedures that meet performance standards; and apply knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, device physics, and statistical analysis. Other job responsibilities may include factory manufacturing execution, factory continuous improvement, factory capacity management, inventory, asset and factory data management and also new product introduction, loading transfer and system deployment support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.

  • Matlab;
