Your next role as a Miracle Maker 

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Quality Assurance department as a Quality Assurance Intern. As a QA Intern you will learn the entire process of how QA provides support to GMP manufacturing from start to finish, from collaboration on drafting documentation, cleanroom release, observation of production in a cleanroom, product handoff and inventory management, documentation handoff and review, quality event investigations, and batch release. 

Project: You will focus on a project to implement process improvements related to final product release, especially in connection to TriLink's expansion into sterile fill activities at the Flanders 2 site, which will contribute to the overall company goals of finding a better way and delivering unquestionable quality.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Meet with cross functional teams to learn what TriLink and its operating units do.
  • Train on QA batch release process and auxiliary functions in order to obtain a sufficient understanding of QA GMP team responsibilities and opportunities for improvement.
  • Shadow GMP manufacturing in a cleanroom environment to observe production activities.
  • Gain experience and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ICH Q7, and 21 CFR 210 & 211 guidelines and regulations as they pertain to quality functions.
  • Review QA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborate to implement process improvements.
  • Prepare and present a project overview with results to the Quality GMP Team, Director of Quality Operations and other executives throughout the company.

The skills and experience that you will bring: 

  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree, currently in junior or senior year. Preferred areas of study are Biology and Chemistry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both in a team setting and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail. Experience with documentation review and handling is a plus.
  • Experience with Excel is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
