We are seeking a Product Development Intern with a passion for developing and applying methods to Manufacturing & Production. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and get hands-on experience. The candidate will work with innovative technology and collaborate with a highly talented and motivated team to address unmet research and medical needs.
Responsibilities:
- Learn about Alamar’s NULISA product and our internal production methods to be able to assist in a variety of projects under the supervision of experienced scientists
- Help with routine lyophilization projects to create shelf-stable products
- Work with Product Development team members to produce reagents on an automated platform
- Help with generating other critical reagents for our commercial product as needed
- Create highly-detailed records for the various projects
Required Qualifications:
- Familiar with basic laboratory skills such as pipetting, weighing, and other measurements and chemical principles (pH, conductivity, density)
- Ability to follow pre-defined procedures; Familiarity with organic chemistry, molecular biology, or biochemistry methods/principles is a plus (such as PCR, antibodies, enzymes, etc.)
- Enthusiasm to learn about working in a Biotechnology setting; Strong attention to detail/ability to follow directions
- Position is most appropriate for student with some college education or recently completed degree (looking to gain industry experience)
- Must be self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude and have good project management skills

The hourly range for this full-time position is $25 - $30 per hour. Work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training determine our salary ranges, which are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
