About the Team

Cvent’s Global Demand Center is seeking an organized, strategic marketing professional to join our team as a Marketing Technology specialist. Our ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with a passion for marketing technology, an understanding of how marketing systems intersect, and an interest in discovering new ways to solve the needs of the business. 

We have a large marketing technology stack of over 50 leading tools. The Marketing Technology Assistant Team Lead will be responsible for working with the team to manage and optimize our marketing technology stack to enhance our marketing strategies and campaigns. This individual will work closely with the marketing, sales, and IT departments to ensure that our technology tools are effectively integrated and utilized to achieve our business goals.

As a member of the Marketing Technology and Automation team, you will serve as a technical expert, onboard new technologies, and optimize the use of existing tools in our stack. You will also lead marketing technology enablement and trainings to ensure that our marketing team harnesses the capabilities powered by our tools We are looking for someone with excellent technical and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to getting things done.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Solve complex, large-scale challenges by maximizing the full potential of Cvent’s technology stack
  • Administer, govern and optimize the use of marketing technology tools.
  • Monitor and analyze technology usage and performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness and ROI.
  • Consult with stakeholders across the organization to capture process flows and create training materials to drive adoption of marketing systems.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of marketing technologies with other business systems, such as sales and customer service platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to implement efficient marketing technologies across different teams. Assist in training, documenting, and guiding team members on effectively using marketing technologies.
  • Evaluate new marketing technologies for alignment with business objectives. Lead the creation of business and technology requirements and establish prioritization for the development and enhancement of marketing platform capabilities. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest marketing technology trends and innovations, recommending and implementing new tools or practices to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to marketing technology.

Here's What You Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing or sales operations role.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including keen attention to detail, engaging with stakeholders to define requirements, developing project plans, and ensuring deadlines are met with diverse business and technical teams.
  • Skilled in crafting technical documentation and simplifying complex procedures.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience with a variety of marketing technologies, such as:
  • Marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • CRM and database platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake)
  • Other tools (e.g., Drift, Cvent, 6Sense, Bizible, Reachdesk, Vidyard, CDP)
  • Proficient in understanding data and deriving insights from it.
  • A strong capacity for understanding and fulfilling project requirements and expectations.
