Position Purpose

The position of Associate – Financial Control is for a fresher Chartered Accountant. The person would be responsible to handle day to day financial functions pertaining to revenue assurance, nostro reconciliation, banking related activities, regulatory submissions etc.

This individual would be expected as a self-starter, working with various colleagues within the Finance Functions and cross functions as well.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

1. Revenue Assurance activities for India Solution Activity

2. Cost Centre allocation to vendor invoices on Basware and forwarding for further approvals, alongwith handling foreign currency remittances where applicable.

3. Providing month end Accruals for expenses to Accounts Payable and Dummy Allocation Keys to FINCON.

4. Providing month end revenue accruals to FINCON

5. Maintaining Invoice Register, Fund Status, etc.

6. Filing of timely Returns with STPI, Maintaining of Invoice, Contracts and Compliance files.

7. Follow-up of un-reconciled items in Bank Reconciliation Statement.

8. Liaise with bankers and provide them the disposal instructions for inward remittances

9. To assist in Compliance towards statutory renewals, registrations, etc.

10. Providing information to FINCON Financial Accounting and Tax team on an ongoing basis.

11. To contribute in various projects undertaken on an ongoing basis.

12. Attending to routine and ad-hoc requests for data from the Management.

13. To assist in preparation of Budget and Forecasts

Contributing Responsibilities

1. Assist in Monthly and Quarterly closure of activities

2. Assisting in Compliance/ STPI related filings

3. Assisting in preparation of Senior Management Dashboard.
