About Us:

Good Business Lab is an independent, non-profit labor innovation and research company. We use rigorous academic research to prove that worker wellbeing programs have business impacts. Additionally, we develop market-ready, scalable products capable of providing dual benefits to workers and businesses. Our goal is to disrupt the traditional notion of business and show that worker well-being can be a part of core business strategy, or in other words, a good business practice.

The founders of the GBL are Ach Adhvaryu – Professor of Economics, Director of 21st Century India Center, School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego, Anant Ahuja – Head of Organization Development at Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. (India’s largest Ready Made Garment firm), and Anant Nyshadham – Assistant Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at the University of Michigan. 

GBL Summer Internship Program for Research interns: For this cohort, we are actively looking to host students from SC/ST/OBC as part of our affirmative action (AA) initiative. AA also extends to Denotified and nomadic tribes (DNT) and Semi Nomadic Tribes (SNT). 50% of internship positions have been reserved for students from historically marginalized/oppressed backgrounds, who are underrepresented in the development ecosystem.

Location: Remote

Internship Duration: 3 months

Type of Internship: Full time, paid

Start Date: Immediate

Stipend: INR 15,000/ month

About the role:

The role will support the Funding Post Award Team in managing post award duties, including maintaining accurate grant records and documentation, tracking and managing contract deliverables and milestones, and providing administrative support as needed. This would be to:

  • Assist the team in maintaining accurate grant records and documentation
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather information and data for reporting purposes.
  • Help track and manage contract deliverables and milestones to ensure timely completion and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and responding to inquiries.

About you:

  • This role would suit someone with strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Someone who has good attention to detail, is self-motivated, confident in using the Microsoft Office package and open to using new tech tools.
