Overview
Oracle EBS Sr. Developer
The Oracle EBS Sr. Developer is responsible for supporting the activities and projects impacting our Construction, Purchasing, and Inventory processses.
Responsibilities
- Primary support resource for Project Costing, Purchasing and Inventory modules. Assist with support of Fixed Assets and Payables
- Document and build a repository of issues reported to identify training opportunities
- Communicate root cause of issues reported and resolve at the root so to eliminate reoccurrence
- Test Oracle patches
- Develop an understanding of the other systems/processes that integrate with the SCM modules and assist with resolving issues
- Coordinate with the team to create and maintain appropriate documentation and training materials; also conduct new user and ‘refresher’ training courses
- Design, develop, document and test extensions to the Oracle Applications. This would include extending the application functionality, creating custom reports, alerts, AME workflow and interfaces
- Collaborate with Oracle Support and Hosting Provider to resolve application and instance issues
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of Functional configuration of the modules within the Oracle EBS platform for SCM and Financials
- Strong Design and Development skills coupled with strong implementation skills spanning Full Life cycle implementations (R12), Application upgrades (R12) and Production support (R12)
- Expert in Oracle Applications R12 using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Developer Suite (Forms and Reports), Oracle XML/BI Publisher and Oracle Workflow, Oracle AME, WEB ADI.
- Strong technical knowledge of OA Framework development
- Experienced in working with the Business to gather requirements
- 10+ years experience implementing Oracle SCM and Financial applications
- Minimum of 2 end-to-end Oracle R12 EBS implementations for Projects, Procurement, and Inventory
