Job Description:

The primary mission of the Data Management Analyst is ensuring the integrity of Customer Master Data (Stewardship). He/she assists with determining the link between the Company’s strategic initiatives and the customer master data that enables their success. He/she also assists with identifying improvement opportunities, developing / implementing plans for realizing these opportunities and managing sustainability of the plans.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administrator for the Customer Master Portals (e.g. customer record creations, additions, maintenance & de-activation)
  • Be the "Gate Keeper" in maintaining consistency, uniformity & accuracy of CMD elements in all systems
  • Develop / document an understanding of CMD impact to business processes
  • Ad-hoc support of business projects related to CMD (i.e. systems conversions / implementations)
  • Ensure user satisfaction (SLA adherence) of processing efficiency while maintaining proper internal controls
  • Participate in formal project teams / activities concerning CMD to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Assist with other CMD administrative tasks and management reporting activities as needed
  • Ensure adherence to all GPI Data Governance policies & procedures
  • Conduct data profiling, cleansing & enrichment analytics
  • Utilize WinShuttle to make manual corrections to data based on profiling & mass uploads as appropriate
  • Identify automation opportunities & work with IT to implement
  • Engage in process improvement-oriented tasks
  • Analytical support for internal / external audit requests (Customer related – AR Analytics, Account additions)

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Management Information Systems, or similar degree; or commensurate experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2 years business experience
  • Experience with MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Visio)
  • Experience in coordinating with multiple departments to achieve business objectives
  • Experience with master data management
  • Must be creative, resourceful, organized & able to work well independently & as part of a team
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong critical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency / passion for process improvement
  • Work involves confidential & sensitive information. Discretion is essential

Preferred / Plus

  • Advanced Degree in Business, Management, Management Information Systems, or similar
  • Achievement or pursuit of relevant professional certifications (CPA, Six Sigma, PMP, etc)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel & Visio
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience extracting data and developing reports in an ERP environment
  • Experience developing, collecting & report data quality metrics / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong interest in systems with demonstrable systems mindset and exposure to a large ERP system
  • Experience with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Experience with data migration activities including Mass Data Loads
  • Project management skills (planning, decision-making, prioritizing, timely completion)
  • Experience with SAP ECC, MDG, S4 Hana, Information Steward
  • Experience / exposure in Credit, Account Receivable, Collections or related area
  • Manufacturing sector &/or training experience

Salary Min: $69,825.00

Salary Mid: $93,135.00

Salary Max: $116,445.00
