The Cash Collection Specialist will be responsible for interfacing directly with our customers throughout the world, both on the phone and via email. The Cash Collection Specialist will be responsible for communication with overdue customers and for the collection progress of overdue invoices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stratify collection activities to maximize cash receipts and meets company's target;
• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment;
• Strive to get a promise to pay from the customer;
• Negotiate payment schedule with the overdue customers;
• Communication with customers in respect of missing documents and information via phone, email, mail;
• Send statements of account proactively to our customers;
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, payment discrepancies;
• Work pro-actively with other departments to identify and solve issues;
• Reporting of overdue customers on a weekly basis;
• Forecast cash receipts on monthly basis;
• Recommend bad debt write-offs with strong argumentation;
• Maintain accurate records about the customer payment status;
• Support other reporting activities, as required;
• Support Tax and SOX audits as required;
• Support other accounting projects, as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree and/or 14 years of schooling. And 1-3 years of related experience;
• Background in Finance, Accounting, Economy or relevant experience in the field;
• Very good verbal and written English language skills;
• Knowledge in second foreign language is an advantage;
• Experience with an ERP system would be considered as an advantage;
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and employees in a professional manner;
• Proficient with MS Office applications;
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
• Team player with result orientated outlook;
• Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts.
