This role will be a pivotal part of PerkinElmer’s global Commercial Finance team, offering an exciting opportunity to gain valuable regional and global experience to support your professional growth.

In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial oversight and support for our dynamic and fast-paced EMEAI Analytical Solutions Sales team. We are looking for a motivated and strategic teammate with a keen eye for detail that flourishes in a collaborative environment. In this high-visibility and high-impact role, you will lead activities including budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc analysis, process improvement and more, to help drive the commercial success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall financial management and forecasting process across assigned region, presenting findings to business leaders, and providing recommendations to achieve financial targets.
  • Analyze monthly P&L performance, conduct variance analysis against forecasts, and identify market trends to offer actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to drive informed financial decision-making, contributing to strategic planning, annual budgeting, and business reviews.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, leveraging complex data to provide meaningful recommendations to business leaders that drive business decisions and opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Proactively drive cross-functional process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2 years of experience in Commercial Finance business partnership
  • 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Fluent in English (at least CEFR C1 level).
