The Marketing Solutions team is focused on delivering engaging narratives that inform and inspire clients, agencies and the industry with the opportunity TikTok brings to media agencies and brands direct. Some examples of work from this team include platform, seasonal and vertical narratives, inspiration decks around key moments on TikTok, strategic best practices and thought leadership. Ultimately, work will help generate demand for TikTok and drive consideration for our products and solutions.

Also responsible for proactively developing business on TikTok from an agreed list of clients, leveraging relationships with senior agency heads of strategy and planning. Work closely with the Research & Insights, Product, Sales, Agency, Measurement and Creative teams.

About the role

Full-time Data Marketing strategist, working for our Business Marketing team, and will be part of the Marketing Solutions Team. This role will partner primarily with our Global Business Solutions marketing teams to empower them with new business insights.

1. Work closely with cross-functional partners (Business Marketing, Ad Product, Sales, Measurement) to address knowledge gaps in our understanding of TikTok users and their behavior.

2. Analyze internal TikTok data to build an in-depth understanding of our users, and blend this analysis with third party research results to create business opportunities using those findings.

3. Develop key platform narratives fueled specially by 1st party data to position our business solutions, suite of products and best-in-class case studies.

4. Leverage syndicated 3rd party research services to compile, synthesize, and turn-around insights into narratives that can help position our platform and suite of products.

5. Communicate results and business recommendations to diverse business stakeholders.

6. Support the data for daily sales pitch needs and relevant data to build our main narratives.

7. Create TikTok positioning messaging strategies, work with frameworks, understand TikTok audiences and communities supporting them with data.

8. Develop data and narratives for our event keynotes and support our business case data.

9. Create and maintain updated hashtag packages for each organizational market and area of focus of the sales team.

10. Enforce and share knowledge about TikTok's internal data (data policy).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1. Strong communication skills and experience in visualizing and reporting data learning (English skills, written & verbal).

2. Ability to generate insights from raw data and turn insights into sales narratives.

3. Skills to create reports and dashboards that allow teams to understand and optimize initiatives.

4. Highly capable of supporting business needs with analysis using queries to drive actionable insights and visualize data.

5. Strong data operations for discovery, extraction, automation, and process improvement. The role will require candidates to build several localization processes for data insights from the ground up and digest raw data into something very easy to understand(.ppt).

6. Experience in a marketing environment working with data analytics, specifically with primary data (consumer insights, attitudinal and media data).

Preferable Qualifications

1. Experience of common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression).

2. Relevant bachelor's degree OR experience in a business field with a focus on quantitative or research methods; graduate degrees in science, mathematics, operations, business, digital marketing or survey-based research methods is a plus.

3. Exceptional time and goal-oriented self-management skills.

4. Interested in working in a fast paced environment.
