What You’ll Do:

The Regional Trainer will deliver effective training plans (hard skills and soft skills) and appropriately address the region's learning and development needs. The Regional Trainer is expected to travel to sites/locations in their respective regions.

  • Facilitates learning using a variety of instructional techniques (role play, simulations, demonstrations, exercises, group discussions, case studies, scenarios, etc.). 
  • Responsible for coordinating, supporting and/or facilitating hard skills (systems, software, etc.) and soft skills (leadership development, communication, conflict management, etc.) training. 
  • Utilizes data and reports to establish accountability for completion/participation and leverages ongoing check-ins to follow up deficiencies and highlight successes.
  • Serves as a liaison and provides coaching and support to leaders and team members.
  • Utilizes information and feedback from Regional Leadership, People & Culture Business Partners, Legal, Organization Development & Learning (ODL) Sr. Learning & Development Partners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to align and deliver on training priorities within the region.
  • Designs and develops content, using multimedia (text, audio, images, animations, video, etc.) that can be delivered online, in-person and in blended formats.
  • Creates participant materials, guides, instructional/demo videos and other supporting documentation for courses and programs.
  • Research credible sources to ensure content is relevant, meaningful and up to date.
  • Administers and leverages a variety of learning technologies and platforms (ex. authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Performance Management, etc.) to ensure effective and efficient deployment of courses and programs. 
  • Conducts ongoing learning sessions for leaders and individual contributors.
  • Reports and analyzes learning data to inform and enhance courses, workshops, and programs. 
  • Plans, organizes and coordinates various learning and development initiatives and special projects as assigned. 
  • Applies best practices of learning and development to all initiatives and projects.
  • Performs various administrative activities directly related to learning and development; e.g. scheduling of rooms, scheduling of speakers, ensures cleanliness of facilities, performs room set-up and breakdown, prepares class materials, orders supplies, orders food and beverage, maintains inventory of supplies, program certificates, etc. 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, or similar degree required
  • 2-3 years of related experience in Human Resources, including facilitating staff and/or professional development education.
  • Experience applying adult learning principles.
  • Certification in psychometric tools such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (M.B.T.I.), Clifton Strengths or DiSC, preferred.
  • Strong research, planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in communicating effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
