Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute accounting processes related to Order-to-Cash (OTC) for the respective country and/or region
  • Ensure cash flow by maximizing collection of overdue debt
  • Support right and timely cash application, minimize unapplied and unidentified payments
  • Maintain good relationship with customers and other internal departments
  • Regularly collaborate with country teams and shared services to ensure the smooth completion of common processes
  • Develop in-depth business knowledge for the countries in scope to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Review and reconcile balance sheets and bank accounts periodically, producing relevant working papers and supporting documentation
  • Ensure the processes within scope meet agreed-upon KPI‘s requirements and support performance management
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement agenda by suggesting documented improvements for quality and efficiency
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Accountant on process completion and any escalations

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

  • Ideally, 2-3 years of working experience in Accounting (postgraduates or students are also welcomed)
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience and expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including but not limited to billing, credit management, and collections
  • Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements in relation to accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish/French/Italian with good communication skills and a strong ability to learn
  • Preferably, experience in performing accounting in the logistics or a similar industry
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.
