Do you want to make significant contributions in the Aerospace and Marine industries?

The Senior Computer Aided Designer is responsible for creating a technical draft of the engineers' designs using various software applications. Must have excellent knowledge with the engineering disciplines, as well as manufacturing processes to determine dimensions and minimize material costs without compromising quality.

This position is part of the Technology department and will be located onsite at New Port Richey, Florida.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide computer aided design support updating various product line standards for proposals and sales pricing. Using Windchill software for file management. Implement Engineering Change Requests on time for accurate and working products as required.
• Preparation and creation of models, detailed drawings, manufacturing drawings and processes to produce new parts for various products using Computer-Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application V5 (CATIA V5). Acts as a peer reviewer examining drawings for soundness, completeness, clarity, and dimensional accuracy including conformity to design/drafting standards and design specifications.
• Utilize standardized geometry and incorporate pre-drawn details of standard geometry to reduce time required to create production drawings. Design and draft various mechanical plans.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum 5 years minimum CAD experience with 3D solid modeling and surfacing with eight (8) years minimum working experience in a mechanical design environment. Experienced in spreadsheet analysis and 3-D solid modeling software applications. Catia (Catia V5 preferred).
• Experience with geometric tolerances and military and ANSI specifications.
• SAP software proficient. Basic knowledge in the areas of stress analysis and fluid dynamics.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Windchill product lifecycle management software
