ABOUT THE ROLE

The Presales Engineer Security in Arrow ECS will collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Account team by acting as technical experts for several vendors. Engineer is reposnible for preparing solution design, design and confirmation BoM and also verifiing proposed solution from business partner. Important part of his job is support business development activities. The Pre-Sales Engineer supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions. We are looking for a slovak native speaker, english communication on business level is important part of work.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties will include but are not restricted to: working with Business Development Manager as one team with main goal meet established business plans and be active in design/preparing business development activities like workshops, virtual sessions, product updates etc. Presales Engineer works together with partners with aim to ensure they have technical knowledge and tools necessary to realise their sales potential.

Role accountabilities:

  • Works on deals assigned to the sales team, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit.
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements
  • Coordinates closely with members of sales team and other presales engineers in Arrow to find solution allign with customers’ business requirements.
  • Helps to execute successful business plans
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships within the vendor
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the channel customer base
  • Helps to identify new partners and engage and enable accordingly to drive incremental sales
  • Brings ideas to business development activities for the partners to find new leads
  • Enables partners by providing regular technical training
