Role Summary/Purpose

The Aftermarket Global Requisition Engineering Leader will lead a global engineering department called AM GRE (After Market Global Requisition Engineering) located in India.

He will be in charge of the team which will support all AM plants for Bills of Material, drawing, Design of Engineering to Order parts, New Part Creation and Engineering Change Management for Both product line : Consolidated (Pressure Safety Valves) and Masoneilan (Control Valves) for After Market business.

As Aftermarket Global Requisition Engineering Leader, you are responsible for

• Managing a team of engineers, Assigning and supervise tasks, manage resource loading across multiple team members and priorities.
• Coach, mentor, develop training plans and support performance evaluation, technical and career development of team members
• Tracking team performance metrics. Ensuring expected results in term of quality, execution time, and cost.
• Supporting the maintenance of engineering data in ERP system
• Coordinating workload for all After Market plants
• Coordinating the new part creation in ERP system
• Collaborating with all global Engineering teams to improve our processes and performance in a global environment
• Engaging in technical discussions, participate in technical designs/solution and discuss solution through global collaboration.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor’s/ Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Have a minimum 7 years of experience in an Engineering Design / Analysis /Scientific / Technical Position.
• Have a minimum 3 years of experience in an Engineering leadership position.
• Have strong work experience in Valve Design and Valve products.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle are preferred
• be a seasoned professional with a solid technical knowledge to be able to handle any technical queries.
• Proven analytical skill set & strategic mindset.
• Proven success in a role requiring process and program management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a cross-functional, matrix team environment.
• Willingness to travel a few times a year, with international travel required
• Must be a self-starter, independent worker
• Must possess above average presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
