We are currently hiring a Brewery Market Representative in Manhattan, NY. Candidate must live in Manhattan. 

• Please note that while this position is listed as “working remotely”, our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise. 

The role of the Brewery Market Representative (BMR) is to increase availability, visibility and velocity of Boston Beer portfolio of brands at retail to generate depletion growth while supporting our local sales team to add value to our wholesaler and retailer partners.

What You'll Brew:

• Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling process
• Learn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles
• Execute impactful promotions for accounts in the On Premise (bars/restaurants) & Off Premise (grocery & liquor stores), sampling events, and festivals
• Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers and displaying point of sale items to increase visibility of our brands
• Conduct waitstaff & bartender education sessions to drive brand awareness and volume in accounts
• Farm existing business in top on & off premise accounts to grow depletions
• Build strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers

What Ingredients You’ll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Entry level to 1+ years experience in sales and/or/food and beverage industry
• An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
• Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

In accordance with New York City's pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired in New York City is $45,900 – $52,000 per year based on the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for additional compensation such as, a city adjustment of $15,000 per year, car allowance per month, as well as an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
