Business Controller for Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina

We are looking for our business in Croatia an experienced and talented professional, that will help us in improving our business controlling capabilities in Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina. What will be your responsibilities?

  • Acting as a finance business partner providing actionable management insight and guiding commercial decisions toward profitable growth
  • Go beyond standard actuals understanding toward forward looking business development to influence business stakeholders in decision-making
  • Performing classic controlling activities such as budgeting, on time and quality month end closing, actual results reporting (e.g. Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow etc) and forecast preparation incl. variance analysis
  • Preparation of management information and ad hoc commercial and business analysis for decision making e.g. contract, project or customer profitability
  • Support financial statement audit and internal control policies compliance and governance
  • Support strategic and long-term planning, market & competitors analysis
  • Continues process improvement and simplification combined with tasks automation
  • Provide advice and support to the finance and business community on reporting and accounting matters
  • Management of finance master data and allocations methods incl. tendering tool alignment
  • Be an active member of SAP implementation team in Croatia that is planned to go-live inQ4’2024

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of relevant experience
  • Master degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Self-motivated and result driven personality, with strong project management skills
  • Ability to influence and drive process improvements end-to-end
  • Sound business acumen, demonstrated by ability to combine the key financial and commercial KPI’s with understanding of core business drivers and challenges
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must
  • Strong people skills to engage and influence non-finance peers & colleagues
  • Good presentation & communication skills (incl. Power Point)
  • Knowledge of SAP and related SAP BPC tool will be an strong asset
  • Ambitious and open for future development
  • Business Partnering and self-started mindset
