Are you looking for a position covering all phases of product development and maintenance in a self-organizing agile team? We are looking for a committed senior engineer excelling in electrical design and mechatronic insight.

You will be joining the Product Development function within the Commercial Building Service Division. We are responsible for all development activities and the future innovations of 2 key product groups; MAGNA and MIXIT®.

You will be part of an agile cross-functional team of skilled and dedicated engineers and technicians. The position is located at our headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark.

A key challenge in this position is to create an optimal design meeting our high-quality standards and at the same time is cost-effective,” says R&D director, Henning Nørregaard Jensen.

What is the job about? 

As a self-organized team guided by a SCRUM master, the group can influence how to utilize each individual's skills and capabilities for successful sprints and delivery. 

Your activities will include:

  • The different phases of a new development: from early idea to testing and validation of the final product/solutions.
  • Typically design tasks are around power solutions, microcontroller peripherals, user interfaces, I/O.
  • Maintenance of already developed products and solutions.
  • Identification and implementation of Design-to-Value (cost out) improvements and well as 2nd source solutions.
  • Investigations of potential issues observed by our customers.

Your background

We are looking for a person with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with 5+ years of relevant experience leading design tasks of electronics products. You are familiar with global organizations and have excellent communication skills on all levels.

You will need experience with:

  • power circuits, micro-controllers, and peripherals
  • simulation as an integrated way of working (e.g. Saber)
  • high-quality demanding products
  • collaboration with external development partners
  • a full value chain perspective and stakeholder management e.g. business purchase and production
  • proficient in English.
