General Summary:

The Technology Intern will work in the business unit or corporate technology group. The Technology Intern will complete specific assigned projects in support of existing sustainable liquid dispersion color and additive products and new product development. The successful candidate will be able to perform, coordinate, and manage experimental methods and protocols in an accurate and reproducible manner, analyze data and instrumental outputs, and write clear concise reports and assist in presentation of data to internal customers. The successful candidate will also provide technical support to manufacturing operations, quality, and sales where appropriate to help drive profitable growth and mitigate risk.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Quality Department with all necessary technical, testing, production and ISO work.

Support the QC department with all necessary project work.

Support raw material evaluation and selection.

Provide ongoing technical service to internal customers – sales, environmental health and safety, quality, purchasing, and manufacturing.

Develops a working knowledge of available analytical and physical testing equipment.

Other duties as assigned.

Scope:

This position will support a specific department or business unit.

Education:

Pursuing Bachelors-Chemistry or equivalent experience

Experience:

Prior internship experience preferred but not required

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
