Job Description

Team overview

The Payment Exception department is responsible for solving customer problems regarding the correct flow of transactions and payments. The main processes in the department are transaction reprocessing, returned payments, issuing invoices and processing fee refunds.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Payment Exceptions Processing Team
  • Learn the payment transaction flow from the moment the transaction is processed on the machine to the payment to the merchant (such as a shop, restaurant, airline)
  • Reprocessing transactions, working rejects received from Card Schemes such as Visa & Mastercard
  • Reporting & Analysis

Basic qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (finance, accounting, business management or economics) with a target completion date of May 2025/2026
  • Ability to start summer internship July 1 2024
  • Understanding of financial and payments market
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • English skills B2
  • English CV required for application

Preferred qualifications

  • Solid understanding of financial and technology
  • Excel and PowerPoint (basic/intermediate level)
  • Attention to details
  • Effective time management and work organization
  • Ability to build relationships.

Location: Puławska 17, 02-515 Warszawa (3 days office, 2 days home)

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract 12 weeks
