Sales Support Specialist - Sales Process

You will be working as Sales Support Specialist - Sales Process at global grade 12 and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and will be responsible for implementing and operationalizing the marketing and sales processes, sales support infrastructure and sales training in the dedicated area. Implementing, operating, maintaining of the tools specific to sales process applying operational excellence methodologies and providing solutions and services to local organizations in APAC IN Region.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting at the dedicated area, proper implementation, and communication of the sales processes, e.g., leading to opportunities to quotations conversion process, demand side forecasting process
  • Proactively monitoring and striving to maintain high level of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
  • Supporting the implementation of tools (ERP and Connected tools) enabling latest and updated technologies to local sales units
  • Ensuring a proper communication and updates on issues related to tools’ development and new functionalities
  • Recommending revisions to existing reports and assisting in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Supporting the deployment of various process and associated tools, introduction, deployment and user training and actively support the related functional competency programs in the dedicated area

Your background

  • Bachelor of technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in SAP configuration and related ABAP coding, as consultant
  • Working knowledge on SAP SD and MM requirement analysis, functional specification, configuration and related coding supervision, testing, cutover, roll out activities
  • Experience in remote function calls design and integration, with other sales applications, CRM and Quotation tools, and hands on experience in data integration with other databases required for tools operation and business analytics
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations process preferred: opportunity – order – cash. Basic and intermediate understanding on P2P process
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
