Responsibilities:

• Leading and coordinating employees with regard to on-time production according to specifications and in consultation with production planning to fulfil customer orders
• Monitoring occupational safety and safe behaviour in the production area
• Continuous monitoring of work and product quality 
• Regular coordination with maintenance
• Direct contact for production management on all production-related issues - Management and coordination of the production team to process production orders.
• Constant contact with the production employees regarding the workload and work coordination, internal work specifications - Contact person for the production team in the event of problems or malfunctions
• Responsible for planning and coordinating the education and training of the production team - Ensuring that process orders are processed in an administratively correct manner and that the processes specified by SAP are adhered to

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a chemical foreman (m/f/d) with at least 3 years of professional and management experience or training as a chemical technician (m/f/d) with at least 5 years of management experience 
• Ability to build and lead a team
• Ability to work under pressure, even in stressful situations
• Experience in batch operations, the correct handling of chemical substances and preparations
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of German and basic English
• Confident use of PCs and knowledge of SAP.
