In This Role, You Will:

Cvent acquired venuedirectory.com in 2022 - venuedirectory.com has been established for over 20 years, providing electronic interactive venue data to corporate and agency buyers of Meetings, Incentives, Conference & Events. Operating various business channels including 2 web-based directories and a software booking system, the company markets to individual and group venues around the world.

  • Call on and develop relationships with new prospects to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations.
  • Demonstrating venuedirectory product solutions, advancing sales cycle, and negotiating/closing deals.
  • Quota carrying for NBB (New Booked Business)
  • Develop and actively pursue list of targeted accounts by creating plans of action to penetrate these accounts & markets.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities in Salesforce.com
  • Work with property-level sales teams as well as other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, share feedback, and customize collateral and sales positioning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with qualified Sales experience
  • Relevant 3-4+ years of prior revenue generating software sales experience.
  • Articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment.
  • Commercial Sales exposure
  • Knowledge of local territory
  • Sales acumen with strong industry relationship

Good to have:

  • Industry experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: SaaS, hospitality, and analytics
  • Strong business acumen, ethics, and high integrity
  • Sales experience within UK/Europe
