Inviting applications for the role of AVP- Quality Engineering - SDET Architect

In this role, We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Architect to join our practice team. As an SDET Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our practice efforts by demonstrating the capabilities and value of our Quality Engineering solutions to prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Quality Engineering methodologies, tools, and technologies, and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales to understand customer requirements and develop tailored demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of our Quality Engineering practice.
  • Create practice collaterals, go-to-market strategy and drive the Quality Engineering pipeline
  • Conceptualize ideas for accelerators, frameworks and drive development and adoption
  • Bring thought leadership in Quality Engineering and work with the delivery team on transformation initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team during customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance to continuously enhance our presales offerings.
  • Engage in Consulting engagement conducting in-depth analysis of customer requirements, existing systems, and technical landscapes to propose effective testing strategies and solutions.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in software development, test automation, and quality engineering, with a focus on architecting scalable and efficient testing solutions

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including agile development, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
  • Strong expertise in Quality Engineering transformation and execution of the same
  • Proven experience in presales or customer-facing roles, with the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Excellent presentation capabilities with consultative selling expertise
  • Ability to manage and write Quality Engineering proposals covering win themes, architecture, sizing and pricing
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar, and experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Karate.
  • Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with various testing types, including functional, performance, security, and integration testing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions to complex testing challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields are a plus.
