USC's Human Resources Compensation department is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join their team. The Sr. Compensation Analyst will be responsible for assisting management in the administration and implementation of staff compensation program(s) and initiatives.

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,324.63 - $108,020.40. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 4 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Solid compensation skills, and experience as an analyst in a corporate or university environment.
Thorough knowledge of compensation best practices, principles, methodologies, and wage and hour regulations. Ability to identify and solve problems creatively. Knowledge of compensation market data benchmarking and analysis, and providing guidance to business partners on pay recommendations. Skilled in analyzing and evaluating job content. Demonstrated excellent analytical, customer service, oral and written communication, and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and communicate with all levels of employees. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail oriented.
